Registered Dental Hygienist

Established general dentistry practice in Wheaton, Illinois, seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist for one or two days per week or Saturdays only. If you enjoy being part of a team and wish to contribute to an outstanding patient experience, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities
Sterilize dental instruments properly
Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
Identify conditions like gingivitis, or periodontitis
Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g., remove plaque or apply fluoride)
Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care
X-rays
Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases
Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
Skills
Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
Outstanding communication skills and attention to detail
Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene
Valid license

Pay: $45.00 - $48.00 per hour
