Job Description
**Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Part time Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and oral hygiene services to our patients.
**Duties:**
- Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures
- Educate patients (adults and children) on oral hygiene practices
- Perform dental charting and take X-rays
- Administer local anesthetics
- Maintain patient records and medical documentation
- Follow infection control protocols and HIPAA guidelines
- Provide patient assessment and assist in treatment planning
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in medical documentation and terminology
- Knowledge of CAD software for dental imaging
- Strong understanding of infection control practices
- Familiarity with pediatric dental care
- Ability to perform patient assessments
- Understanding of anatomy and oral health
- Experience with Epic or similar electronic health records systems
- Previous work in a dental office setting is preferred
