Saturday Dental Hygienist

My Morning Smile Dental is now Hiring a Permanent **Saturday ONLY** Dental Hygienist!

Opened in 2022, we are seeking a dedicated and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our Family owned Independent Hygiene Clinic in Scarborough, Ontario. We provide our patients strong understanding of Dental care, communication and commitment to their oral health
Hiring to work Biweekly Saturdays, 9am - 4pm
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings, examinations and ensure optimal oral health routines
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventative care, and importance of regular hygiene visits or resolving dental concerns
take good dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
Create hygiene treatment plans that reflect their oral care as needed
Correct documentation of patient charts, observation skills and treatment plans accurately in software
Maintain clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and resupplying as required
Provide excellent patient communication to address inquiries and concerns effectively
strong sense of independency and initiative towards patient care
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance overall patient experience
Willing to learn our policies and structure to provide smooth transactions
Experience
Previous experience (minimum 1 year) as a Dental Hygienist preferred
Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
Solid understanding and effectiveness to communicate within the healthcare environment
We heavily encourage patient care and knowledge to promote positive relationships with patients and their families
Expectations
We are a fast-paced but thorough dental practice, where we provide a variety of dental services such as Root Canals, Surgery, Implants, Dentures, Orthodontics (via. Invisalign), Restorations, Crowns, etc...

We require:
Thorough observation and clinical charting to recognize dental decay, abnormal tissues and/or outstanding dental care
Full Mouth Probing, Intra-oral photos
Good capturing of Bitewings, PAs, and Pans (can provide training)
Ensure Booking for routine or Dentist visits
General knowledge of Insurance breakdowns
Take Alginate Impressions and pour models
