Job Description

Schedule: Full-time, Days. No holidays/no weekends.
What You'll Do
Accountable for all aspects of scheduling procedures. Responsible for retrieval of minimal demographic information and communication of instructions to patient and/or physician office of scheduled procedures.
Responsibilities
Assists in reviewing patient schedules daily for scheduling accuracy
Assists with answering calls both as back up to office as well as from patients, offices, and others regarding appointments
Schedules patient appointments per telephone referrals
Prepares daily patient schedule for check-in receptionists per protocol
Maintains all schedules as outlined per individual protocol for both physicians and nurse practitioners, ensuring the patient's time at the facility is spent as efficiently as possible
Ensures that patient appointment reminder calls are made and assists when necessary
Assists with making sure provider schedules are full and appointments are accurately scheduled each day as outlined per their individual protocol
Schedules and reschedules appointments in a timely manner
