Job Description
Better Life Family Dentistry is a brand new family business in Bristow, VA. We are professional, customer-centric, collaborative and our goal is to find the right candidate who will join us in our journey of a start-up practice.
Our dental office is seeking a reliable and dedicated DA with a passion for providing quality patient care. The ideal candidate will work in a very clean and well-organized office, where teamwork is essential, and will be responsible for creating a relaxing and confident environment for patients.
Skills:
- MUST be x-ray certified
- Proficiency in taking dental x-rays and operating dental imaging systems
- Knowledge of dental records management and documentation
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and guidelines
- Ability to accurately take and record vital signs of patients
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience in maintaining aseptic technique in a clinical setting
*** 1-2 yrs of dental assistant experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, ensuring all necessary tools are prepared.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and sterile environment.
- Take X-rays and record vital signs accurately.
- Manage patient records following HIPAA guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service and communication with patients.
- Assist with dental procedures, demonstrating proficiency in dental assisting techniques.
- Utilize EMR systems for efficient records management.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and patient care.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
