Seeking Part Time Dental Hygienist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our friendly and professional dental team. Duties
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take digital radiographs as needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
Maintain accurate patient records using Tracker or similar dental software
Manage patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
Ensure the sterilization of dental instruments and maintain a clean, organized treatment area
Support the dental team with administrative tasks related to patient care when necessary
Experience
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, especially with pediatric patients or orthodontics
Proficiency in Tracker or other dental practice management software is desirable
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations
Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve our multilingual community
Experience in dental assisting or related roles will be considered an asset

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 15 per week
