Job Description
Dental Receptionist – Ridge Meadows Children's Dentistry (Maple Ridge, BC)
Ridge Meadows Children's Dentistry is a growing pediatric dental practice in Maple Ridge, and we’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Dental Receptionist to join our team!
We’re seeking someone who is not only organized and detail-oriented but also a strong communicator who enjoys working collaboratively in a team-focused, child-friendly environment. Your role will be essential in helping our practice deliver exceptional care to our young patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily front desk operations and patient flow
Schedule appointments efficiently (recalls, emergencies, GA coordination if applicable)
Handle insurance claims, predeterminations, and billing (including dual insurance)
Train and support front desk team members
Communicate clearly with parents regarding treatment, coverage, and payments
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances
Coordinate with clinical team for smooth workflow
Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years of dental reception experience (pediatric preferred)
Strong knowledge of dental insurance (Canada Life, Sun Life, PBC, etc.)
Experience with dental software (Cleardent)
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Please note: This is a senior-level position. Applicants without prior dental reception experience will not be considered.
