Job Description

Amherst Neighborhood Dentistry is a patient-focused private practice committed to high-quality care, modern dental technology, and a more personalized patient experience. As a fully out-of-network practice, we are able to maintain a steady, intentional pace throughout the day so our team can give each patient the time and attention they deserve. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys patient communication and treatment coordination, understands clinical dentistry, and can confidently serve as the connection between patients and the doctor. While the position is primarily front office (80-90%), the right person should also be comfortable stepping in to take X-rays, turn over rooms, or assist chairside when needed, with room to grow within the practice over time.

Responsibilities
Scheduling & Patient Flow: Manage appointments, fill openings, and keep the schedule organized and productive.

Patient Communication: Answer calls and questions, address concerns, and involve the doctor when needed.

Treatment Coordination: Review treatment plans, explain next steps, coordinate care, and follow up on unscheduled treatment.

Financial & Records: Discuss fees, payment options, and insurance estimates while keeping records accurate.

Clinical Support: Take X-rays, help turn over rooms, and assist chairside when needed.

Front Office Oversight: Stay on top of collections, outstanding tasks, and daily front-office priorities.
