Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Spanish-speaking Receptionist, where your friendly demeanor and bilingual skills will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, coordinate patient appointments, verify insurance information, and ensure smooth communication between patients and clinical staff. Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors warmly in both English and Spanish, providing excellent customer service at all times
Schedule patient appointments accurately using dental office management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix
Verify insurance coverage, including health insurance and dental plans, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date
Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, answering inquiries promptly and directing calls appropriately
Assist with insurance claims processing, billing, and collections related to medical and dental services
Support clinical staff with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document review while adhering to HIPAA confidentiality policies
Skills
Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is essential for effective communication with diverse patient populations
Proven experience in medical or dental office administration, including front desk duties and patient intake processes
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation review and management
Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing proficiency (10 key typing)
Knowledge of dental terminology combined with clinical confidentiality policies to ensure compliance with HIPAA standards
Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently
Ability to perform clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, appointment scheduling, and insurance verification accurately
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to both general healthcare and dental specialties
Previous clinic or hospital experience is preferred to navigate fast-paced environments seamlessly
