Specialist Dental Assistant — Digital Dentistry Training Program!
Clarence Street Dental Group | Brantford, ON
Full-time hours and office benefits at $40/hour upon completion of training — placing you in the top 1% of dental assistant wages in Canada.
The dental industry doesn't actually have a shortage of dental assistants. It has a shortage of dental assistants trained to work at the level modern dentistry now demands. Clarence Street Dental Group built a program to close that gap.
Our Specialist Assistant Training Program is an 8-level competency pathway that takes a certified dental assistant and develops them into a true digital dentistry specialist — someone who can design and mill a crown chairside, plan and guide an implant surgery digitally, run a full-mouth rehabilitation case, and manage smile design, digital dentures, and clear aligner therapy. It's built on continuing education from Spear Education, CDOCS, MOD Institute, 3Shape Academy, and Ivoclar, paired with hands-on mentorship from our doctors and a competency test at every milestone. As far as we know, no other practice in the region offers anything close to it.
What the program covers:
Digital restorative workflows, Levels 1–5 — simple restorative through full-mouth rehabilitation, using CEREC, Exocad, in-house milling, and 3D printing
Digital dentures and removable prosthetics
TMJ, airway, and complex occlusion
All-on-X and full-arch implant design
Oral surgery digital planning and surgical guide design
Orthodontic digital planning and clear aligner workflows
This is a demanding curriculum, and it isn't for everyone. But finish it, and you're no longer just a dental assistant — you're one of the most highly trained specialist assistants in the profession.
We compensate accordingly: full-time hours, office benefits, and $40/hour.
Who we're looking for: Certified, experienced dental assistants who want more out of their career than most practices offer. Exceptional new graduates will also be considered — but the bar is high, and this program moves fast.
