Sterile Processing Technician / Dental Assistant

We are looking for a passionate sterile technician / dental assistant to join our family practice long term! We are a medium sized dental office with a friendly team and wonderful patients. We would like to have someone join our team that values their relationship with our "work family" and our patients alike. No minimum work experience is required, however, applicants are expected to be certified for x-rays and capable of instrument sterilization. Flexible scheduling can be considered, but we are hoping to have applicants working in both our Boulder and Fort Collins locations. Our usual work weeks are as the following:
Fort Collins, CO: Monday: 11:30AM-6:00PM
Boulder, CO: Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday: 7:30AM-1:00PM / lunch / 1:30PM-4:15PM
Fort Collins, CO: Friday: 7:30AM-2:00PM
Part-time applicants limited to hours in our Boulder, CO office will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Help prepare and maintain dental materials and supplies

- Check-in and check-out patients

- Provide support to hygienist as needed
Skills:

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws

- Understanding of infection control protocols in a dental setting

- Understanding of sterilization techniques and equipment

- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques used in dentistry
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Lead Assistant throughout the clinical day, preparing equipment, helping turn over operatory rooms, and assisting the general staff with x-ray imaging. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations, be proficient sterilization techniques, have experience with infection control protocols, and be quick, accurate, and safe with x-ray imaging. If you are detail-oriented, compassionate, and have excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you.
