Duties
Prepare, clean, sterilize, and organize dental instruments and equipment following strict infection control protocols
Assist with the proper handling and storage of sterilized tools to ensure readiness for patient procedures
Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles, instrument inventory, and compliance documentation
Support the dental team by managing the flow of sterilized instruments during procedures
Follow all health and safety regulations related to infection control and medical waste disposal
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless workflow and patient safety
Stay updated on current sterilization techniques and best practices in dental hygiene
Experience
Prior experience or familiarity with dental sterilization processes is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous for understanding procedures and documentation requirements
Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and a proactive approach are essential for success in this role
Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with dental staff and support team members
