Sterilization Assistant/Floater RDA

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Sterilization/Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing and packaging instruments. Keeping tools and equipment organized and easily accessible. They will also provide quality dental care and improving patients' oral health. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about dentistry and patient care.

Duties

- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedure

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment

-Assist the dentist with treatment if qualified.

- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures

- Take X-rays or dental impressions

- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills

-Knowledgeable of infection control processes and procedures

-Experience with pediatrics an asset

- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques

- Knowledge of Epic software for healthcare management

- Familiarity with orthodontic procedures

- Understanding of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) in dentistry

- Familiarity with software for dental practice management

- Knowledge of dental terminology
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 15 months
Pay: $21.17-$34.72 per hour
