Job Description
Sterilization Technician / Floating Dental Assistant (Kenora, ON)
Sterilization Technician / Floating Dental Assistant — Permanent
Kenora, Ontario | Part-time to full-time hours available
Our Kenora dental office is hiring a versatile team member who can move between sterilization, chairside assisting and the front desk. If you like variety in your day and being the person who keeps the office running smoothly, this role is for you. This is a permanent position.
What you'll do
Process, package and sterilize instruments and maintain sterilization records
Flip and set up operatories between patients so the schedule stays on time
Assist chairside for general dentistry procedures
Cover the front desk as needed — greeting patients, answering the phone, booking and confirming appointments
Step in wherever the team needs support on a busy day
What we're looking for
Comfortable moving between clinical and front-office tasks in the same day
Dental experience is an asset; sterilization or dental assisting training is preferred but not required
HARP or Level I certification is a bonus — we're open to sponsoring HARP training for the right person
Strong customer-service instincts; candidates from retail, hospitality or service backgrounds who want to learn dentistry are welcome
Reliable attendance and dependability — this matters more to us than any credential
A helpful, drama-free team player
What we offer
Permanent role with flexible part-time or full-time hours
Benefits eligibility
On-the-job training and support toward certification for a motivated candidate
A collaborative clinical team that genuinely helps each other out
A busy two-doctor practice where your work is visible and valued
How to apply
Please send your resume and a short note about your availability and what interests you about dentistry. Candidates relocating to Kenora are welcome to apply
