Sterilization Technician (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Location: Mississauga, ON
Start Date: October or November 2026
Position Type: Maternity Leave Coverage, 12 months (with possible extension to 18 months)
Rate of Pay: $24-$26/hour, based on experience
Benefits: Cleanings and uniform allowance

Schedule:
Monday & Wednesday: 7:15 AM - 5:30/6:00 PM
Tuesday & Thursday: 7:15 AM - 2:30 PM

We are looking for a Sterilization Technician to join a busy dental specialist office in Mississauga. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a surgical environment and work alongside a supportive team.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing dental instruments and equipment
• Maintaining sterilization areas and ensuring proper infection prevention and control procedures are followed
• Supporting the clinical team with sterilization and operatory turnover as needed
• Following all IPAC and office protocols

Requirements:

• IPAC certification required
• WHMIS certification required
• Dental assisting experience is an asset but not required
• New graduates with Sterilization Technician training are welcome to apply
• Strong communication skills
• Team player with a positive and collaborative attitude
