Sterilization Technician (MDRT)

We are proud to represent a premier Oral Surgery practice currently seeking a dedicated Sterilization Technician to join their Oakville clinic. The successful candidate will be a proactive troubleshooter who enjoys working independently within a collaborative clinical framework. Please note that a Medical Device Reprocessing Certificate is required, as well as a strong knowledge of dental practice reprocessing and compliance.

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage the full decontamination and sterilization cycle for simple and complex surgical instruments.
• Ensure all medical device reprocessing adheres strictly to Public Health Ontario standards.
• Maintain organized restocking and distribution of sterilized products to support the surgical team.

Compensation & Schedule:

• Pay Rate: $20.01 per hour.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (No evenings or weekends).
• Guarantee: 30 hours per week.
• Total Rewards: 100% employer-paid group benefits (after 3 months), 3 weeks paid vacation, paid sick/personal days, and paid lunch/breaks. Includes free parking.

Requirements:

• Medical Device Reprocessing Certificate is required.
• Strong knowledge of Reprocessing in Dental Practice Settings Compliance as set by Public Health Ontario.
• Previous dental experience is an asset.
• Note: This role is based in Oakville but requires some travel to partner clinics.
