Duties
Assisting our doctor in surgeries
Monitoring vitals
Sterilizing equipment
Consulting with patients
Completing documentation entirely and accurately
Taking x-rays
Entering patient information into our computer software while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality
Skills
Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry, chairside assisting, and oral surgery support.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and general dentistry procedures.
Knowledge and experience with communicating with patients.
Experience with dental equipment operation such as dental x-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other diagnostic tools.
Familiarity with EMR systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft for accurate medical documentation and record-keeping.
Expertise in infection prevention management including sterilization procedures, aseptic technique, and healthcare infection control protocols.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with dental teams and provide outstanding patient care.
