We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and detail-oriented Surgical Dental Assistant to join our fast-paced oral surgery practice. If you are passionate about patient care, thrive in a team environment, and enjoy working in a surgical setting, we'd love to hear from you!
Qualifications
Current Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license (required)
Nitrous Oxide Monitoring Certification (required)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Professional, dependable, and positive attitude
Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
Assist the oral surgeon during surgical procedures, including extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, and other oral surgery procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and surgical instruments
Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols
Take digital radiographs, intraoral scans and CBCT scans as needed
Monitor and support patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
Provide clear post-operative instructions and patient education
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Stock operatories and assist with daily clinical operations
