Job Description
Location: 3900 American Drive, Suite 101, Plano, TX 75075 Employment Type: Full-Time Pay: Competitive, based on experience Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 6:30 AM–4:30 PM | Mondays off
Chairside at One of Plano's Premier Periodontic & Oral Surgery Practices
Advanced Implant and Oral Surgery is a dual-specialty practice led by two of North Texas's most respected providers, Dr. Bradley Dean, a periodontist with over two decades of experience, and Dr. Brandon Baker, a dual-trained oral and maxillofacial surgeon and dentist. Together, they deliver a full range of advanced surgical and periodontal care: dental implants, All-on-Four, bone grafting, osseous surgery, extractions, corrective jaw surgery, IV sedation, and more.
This is not a general dentistry role. We're looking for an experienced Registered Dental Assistant with a strong surgical background who is ready to work at the highest level of clinical care.
What You'll Do
Assist Dr. Dean and Dr. Baker chairside during advanced periodontal and oral surgical procedures including implant placement, bone grafting, osseous surgery, extractions, and IV sedation cases
Support surgical workflows including instrument and tray setup, tissue management, and post-operative patient care
Fabricate temporary crowns and provisional restorations
Take digital X-rays and assist with digital scanning and imaging
Pack and remove retraction cord
Take impressions and assist with lab case documentation — tracking incoming and outgoing cases
Sterilize instruments and maintain clean, organized operatories
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Provide clear post-operative instructions and patient education
What We're Looking For
Active Texas RDA license - required
Surgical assisting experience - required (periodontal and/or oral surgery strongly preferred)
1–2 years of dental assisting experience minimum
Proficient in temporary crown fabrication and retraction cord packing
Comfortable with digital X-rays; digital scanning experience a plus
Open Dental experience -preferred
Detail-oriented, professional, and composed in a surgical environment
Compassionate with patients -many of our patients are anxious or undergoing complex procedures
Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
