A prominent oral surgery practice is seeking a motivated, hardworking, compassionate, and detail-oriented Surgical Dental Assistant to join our growing team. Whether you are an experienced assistant or new to oral surgery, we provide comprehensive training to help you develop the skills needed to succeed in a fast-paced surgical environment.
As a Surgical Dental Assistant, you will work directly alongside our oral surgeons, assisting with outpatient anesthesia and surgical procedures while helping patients feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their experience.
What You’ll Do
Assist with IV sedation and oral surgery procedures
Monitor and document patient vital signs during anesthesia
Prepare treatment rooms and surgical equipment
Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
Take digital radiographs and maintain electronic patient records
Provide pre- and post-operative patient education
Support efficient patient flow while delivering exceptional customer service
Work closely with doctors and teammates to provide outstanding patient care

BLS Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Washington State Dental Assistant Registration (or willingness to obtain)
Dental assisting experience preferred but not required
Dental anesthesia assistant certification required. Training will be provided.

We believe great teams are built through continuous learning. Team members participate in structured training and professional development programs, including MGE training, as part of their employment.
Training will include online learning, in-office instruction, and out of state travel for in-person courses. Our training systems are an integral part of how we support professional growth, teamwork, and exceptional patient care.
