Oral Surgery Assistant (IV Sedation & Dental Implants)

POSITION PURPOSE
Oral & Facial Surgery Centers of Washington is seeking a compassionate and motivated Oral Surgery Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside respected oral and maxillofacial surgeons in a full-scope surgical practice focused on clinical excellence, patient care, and professional growth.
As an Oral Surgery Assistant, you will assist with surgical procedures, support patients throughout their treatment journey, monitor patients during anesthesia, and help create an exceptional patient experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist surgeons during oral surgery procedures
Monitor patients during anesthesia and recovery
Obtain vital signs and diagnostic records
Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient education
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment
Follow OSHA, infection control, and safety standards
Deliver an exceptional patient experience
QUALIFICATIONS
Current CPR Certification required
Dental Assisting experience required
Oral Surgery Assisting experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and safety
WORK ENVIRONMENT

Additionally, occasional lifting and carrying boxes, supplies up to 25 pounds may be required. Furthermore, close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) is required.
