Job Description

Responsibilities:
Ability to be on time and Answer calls every morning by 9 am (Mon.-Fri) when the pharmacy opens
Answer phones, route calls, and take messages as necessary
Ability to address basic patient inquiries in a positive, proactive manner
Monitor/listen/take/distribute messages from the voicemail system
Data Entry of Refills and other basic patient requests.

Monitor the to-do-list for refills
Monitor the Text Messages System for refill and other patient requests
Multi-tasks in a professional, organized, and friendly mannerComplete End-Of-Day procedures for phones and pharmacy systems at your station.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of receptionist desk area.

Perform other duties as needed and requested to ensure the smooth operation of the office and optimal care of all patients.

Other Duties of the Receptionist regarding calls/texts:
Obtaining refills requests (verbal , messages left in the automated refill system or via text messaging)
Tracking orders for patients using UPS, US MAIL, or Courier system
Update payment information, pick-up/shipment preferences, and change of addresses
Fax doctors to obtain more refills for the patient
Contact customers when the prescriber provides refills they requested.

Call patients/doctors if credit card information is incomplete, declined the charge, or if additional items are needed.

Job Type:
Full-time, 40 hours a week
Experience:
1 Year of Receptionist, Customer Service or Pharmacy Technician (Preferred)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Registered Pharmacy Technician within the State of Florida - Active (Preferred)
Proficient in the use of computer Windows-based programs
Excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $1.00 per year
