Job Description
Are you a Level 1 or Level 2 Dental Assistant with at least 3 months of Canadian dental experience? Join a great team this fall in beautiful Haida Gwaii!

The Opportunity
The office is looking for a CDA to provide temporary coverage during two separate periods:
- October 8, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28, and 29
- December 7, 8, 9, 10, 14, 15, 16, and 17
Candidates are welcome to apply even if you are only available for one of the two coverage periods.
What They Offer
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Enjoy Fridays and weekends to explore the island!
- Pay: $35/hour
- Flights: Paid round-trip flights from Vancouver
- Housing: Furnished one-bedroom apartment with an ocean view and private deck
- Transportation: Rental car provided
The Role
You will be responsible for chairside assisting, instrument sterilization, supply ordering, and chart entries.
- Requirements: Minimum 3 months of Canadian dental experience as a Level 1 or Level 2 Dental Assistant
- Assets: Level 2 BCCOHP certification and X-ray proficiency
