Temporary Dental Hygienist

We are looking for a hygienist who can be part of our team 3-4 days a week. We need someone to fill in for a few months. At Whites Creek Dental, we want to empower those around us with skills and knowledge so that they can confidently pursue their unique talents. ```Duties```

- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations

- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed

- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and taking vital signs

- Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile field using aseptic technique

- Document patient care and treatment plans in electronic health record systems such as Dentrix

- Follow HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
```Requirements```

- Valid dental hygiene license in Nevada

- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix

- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and communicate with patients
