Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Temporary Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics with precision and care
Conduct patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions, and develop effective treatment plans aligned with best practices
Execute complex procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, and oral surgery while maintaining aseptic techniques
Utilize dental imaging tools and interpret medical imaging results to inform treatment decisions
Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols
Ensure infection control standards are strictly followed to safeguard patient health and safety
Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize patient care efficiency and comfort
Manage dental fabrication processes for crowns, bridges, and other prosthetic devices when necessary
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care using clear dental terminology
Experience
Proven experience working in a dental clinic or office environment with a focus on general dentistry
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy related to the oral cavity, and infection control protocols
Experience performing dental extractions, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures
Ability to handle medical records accurately while adhering to HIPAA privacy standards
Prior experience with dental imaging techniques and medical documentation is a plus
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately while maintaining professionalism
