About the Position
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organized TEMPORARY Dental Front Receptionist / Treatment Coordinator to join our dental team from SEPTEMBER 2026 - FEBURARY 2027 .
The ideal candidate is patient-focused, confident communicating with patients, and comfortable coordinating appointments, treatment plans, insurance, and financial arrangements. MUST SPEAK SPANISH
This is a key front-office position that helps create a positive patient experience while supporting the doctor and the overall success of the practice.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and provide an exceptional front-desk experience.
Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and manage incoming messages.
Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments.
Present and explain treatment plans, recommended procedures, fees, and payment options.
Coordinate treatment appointments and help patients understand the next steps in their care.
Verify dental insurance benefits and assist with insurance-related questions.
Prepare and review treatment estimates and financial arrangements.
Collect copayments, balances, and other patient payments.
Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic and insurance information.
Coordinate communication between patients, dental assistants, hygienists, doctors, and specialists.
Follow up with patients regarding unscheduled or incomplete treatment.
Maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming reception area.
Assist with daily administrative and front-office tasks as needed.
Protect patient privacy and follow HIPAA and office policies.
Qualifications
Previous dental front-office, receptionist, or treatment coordinator experience required.
Knowledge of dental terminology, insurance, and treatment coordination is required. We are a PPO , Medi-cal, cash office.
SPANISH SPEAKER MUST
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Professional, friendly, and compassionate personality.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Comfortable discussing treatment costs and financial arrangements with patients.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental office.
Computer proficiency and ability to learn dental practice management software.
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
