Travel Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Orthodontic Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will assist the orthodontist in providing quality orthodontic care to patients.

Responsibilities

- Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures

- Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and treatments

- Take and develop dental X-rays

- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and orthodontic care

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments

- Perform lab duties including pouring and trimming models
Requirements

- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures

- Experience working in a dental clinic or orthodontic practice

- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental software

- Familiarity with medical imaging and X-Ray procedures

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical record confidentiality

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
