Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Traveling Associate Dentist to join our team and provide exceptional dental care across multiple locations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver comprehensive general dentistry services, including restorative, preventive, and surgical procedures, while working in diverse clinical environments. The Traveling Associate Dentist will ensure high-quality patient care, adhere to all healthcare regulations, and promote positive patient experiences. Duties
Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis, utilizing medical and dental terminology accurately.
Deliver a wide range of dental services such as restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants.
Utilize dental software systems for documentation, treatment planning, and medical records management.
Ensure infection control and aseptic techniques are strictly followed during all procedures to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Conduct patient education on oral health care practices and treatment options while maintaining clear client communication.
Collaborate with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow efficiency and patient comfort.
Adhere to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws to protect patient privacy and ensure compliance with medical documentation standards.
Use medical imaging tools effectively for diagnosis and treatment planning while maintaining knowledge of anatomy and medical imaging protocols.
Assist with dental fabrication processes when necessary and provide post-treatment instructions for optimal recovery.
Maintain detailed records of procedures performed, including dental diagnosis, treatment notes, and follow-up care plans.
Requirements
Valid CA dental license.
Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency.
Strong knowledge of infection control protocols, aseptic technique, and healthcare diagnosis procedures.
Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws related to medical records and patient privacy.
Strong ability in diagnosis and treatment planning.
