Job Description
Treatment Coordinator – Full-Time
Burnaby Dental Centre | Burnaby, BC
Are you an experienced Treatment Coordinator who loves connecting with patients, helping them understand their treatment options, and being part of a positive, supportive team?
Burnaby Dental Centre is looking for a motivated and personable full-time Treatment Coordinator to join our team for the long term.
Located in a fantastic area of Burnaby, our established practice has a loyal, long-standing patient base and deep roots in the community. We see patients of all ages and pride ourselves on providing exceptional care and creating a welcoming experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
We’re looking for someone who is professional, easy-going, reliable, and genuinely enjoys working with people. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow with a practice and become an integral part of our team.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Treatment Coordinator, you’ll play an important role in helping patients understand and move forward with their dental care.
Your responsibilities will include:
Presenting and coordinating treatment plans
Discussing treatment options and fees with patients
Helping patients understand their financial options
Coordinating hygiene and restorative appointments
Managing patient communication, follow-ups, and rebooking
Insurance verification and coordination
Accounts receivable and other financial administration
Supporting the front office and overall patient flow
Maintaining an organized and productive schedule
Providing a warm, professional patient experience
Jumping in and supporting the team wherever needed
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of dental administration experience and experience with a variety of front-office responsibilities.
We’re looking for someone who is:
A strong communicator who enjoys working with patients
Comfortable discussing treatment and finances
Reliable and dependable
Positive, approachable, and professional
Organized and detail-oriented
A motivated team player
Comfortable taking initiative and ownership
Interested in learning and developing new skills
Looking for a long-term opportunity rather than simply their next job
Experience with hygiene coordination, treatment coordination, accounts receivable, insurance verification, and general dental administration is important for this role.
We are a digital dental practice utilizing Curve Dental, so experience with Curve is an asset.
Not every box checked? That's okay! We are willing to train the right person on certain aspects of the role. The most important things to us are your attitude, communication skills, reliability, and willingness to learn.
An Incredible Professional Development Opportunity
We believe in investing in our team — and this position comes with a unique opportunity for professional development.
Burnaby Dental Centre is prepared to cover the cost of specialized training in Florida, including course fees and travel expenses.
This is a significant investment in the successful candidate and an opportunity to gain valuable training and bring those skills back to our practice.
