Job Summary
Miami Dental Heaven is a growing dental practice seeking an experienced, motivated and highly organized Dental Front Office & Treatment Coordinator.
This is not a receptionist-only role. It combines front office responsibilities, new patient coordination, and treatment coordination. Responsibilities... Strong communication and follow-up skills, comfort discussing fees and financial arrangements, bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred, Open Dental is a must. Screening questions for Indeed... How many years of dental front office experience do you have... Have you presented dental treatment plans and discussed fees with patients? Are you fluent in both English and Spanish? Which dental software have you used? Briefly describe how you follow up with a patient who did not schedule treatment.
Responsibilities
Answer phones, check patients in and out, manage the schedule, confirm appointments, and reduce no-shows. Verify insurance benefits, collect copays and balances, keep accurate records. New Patient Coordination... Respond promptly to new patient inquiries, convert calls to appointments, follow up with prospective patients, help deliver an excellent first impression... Treatment Coordination... Present treatment plans clearly and confidently. Review fees and financial options. Follow up consistently with unscheduled treatment. Help improve treatment acceptance and patient retention... Recall & Reactivation... Keep recall active, reach out to overdue patients and help fill the schedule...
Qualifications
Prior dental front office experience required.
Treatment Coordination experience is a strong plus in Dental software
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations, clinical confidentiality policies, and health information management standards
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively
Work Location: In person
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
