Join Our Network – Connecting Top Talent with Leading Healthcare Organizations
Wound360 specializes in recruiting top-tier healthcare professionals for our clients, ensuring the best fit for both employers and candidates. Our mission is to connect skilled professionals and clinicians with dynamic healthcare environments where they can thrive and make a lasting impact.
Now Hiring: Wound Care Provider
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), Medical Doctor (MD), or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) to provide wound care services across skilled nursing facilities in the Memphis and Jackson, TN areas.
This is a mobile position that requires a provider who is comfortable working independently, traveling between facilities, and maintaining a flexible schedule based on facility needs.
Why Join This Opportunity?
Immediate Start: Opportunity to begin working as soon as possible.
Competitive Compensation: Start with a guaranteed daily rate and transition to a production-based compensation model.
Focused Clinical Practice: Build and expand your expertise in wound care and related procedures.
Paid Training: Receive compensation during the training and shadowing period. Training takes around 2.5-3 days.
W2 Employment: Join the team as a W2 employee.
Your Day-to-Day
Travel to assigned skilled nursing facilities to conduct wound care rounds and provide patient care.
Assess, diagnose, and treat chronic, surgical, and dermatologic wounds.
Perform bedside wound care procedures, including debridement, as appropriate to your training and scope of practice.
Provide dressing changes and assist with feeding tube management as needed.
Collaborate closely with facility staff and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Manage a patient caseload of more than 10–15 patients per day.
Be prepared for early morning starts when required by facility schedules.
Who We’re Looking For
Preferred: NP, DNP, PA, DO, or MD with extensive clinical and hands-on experience in surgical or sharp wound debridement, feeding tube management, wound vacs, and skin grafting.
Skilled Nursing Facility Experience: Experience working in a skilled nursing facility setting is a plus.
Wound Care Experience: Previous experience working with a wound care company is preferred.
Full Commitment: This role requires a full professional commitment and is not suitable for providers who are only available for a few morning hours before leaving for another job.
Flexible Schedule: Must have flexibility to accommodate facility schedules and rounding days. For example, if a facility requires rounds from Tuesday through Friday, a provider who is only available on Mondays would not be a suitable fit.
Transportation: Must have reliable and adequate transportation and be willing and able to travel between facilities. The role may require travel of up to approximately 87 miles one way between Memphis and Jackson.
Positive Personality: Professional, approachable, and able to build strong rapport with facility staff and patients.
Self-Motivated: Comfortable working independently, managing schedules, and communicating effectively with care teams.
Independent & Motivated: Self-driven, an excellent communicator, and able to work autonomously.
Licensure: Must have an active Tennessee NP, PA, MD, or DO license.
Availability: Open to traveling to and visiting multiple skilled nursing facilities throughout the Memphis and Jackson, TN areas.
Compensation & Benefits
Employment Type: W2 Position
Guaranteed Daily Rate: $500 per day for the first 3 months of employment
35% production rate for NP/PA providers
40% production rate for MD providers
Additional Procedures: Compensation for emergency G-tube services and skin grafting may be structured/paid differently.
Paid Training: Compensation is included during the training and shadowing period, which is approximately 2.5–3 days.
Mileage Reimbursement: Details to be discussed with the practice.
